IAT Publications

The Institute publishes a number of publications and training materials aimed at animal technologists and research workers involved in the care and use of laboratory animals.

The Bulletin
Published monthly, the IAT Bulletin is mailed to members and contains topical editorial:

• reports of branch activities
• reports from scientific meetings
• brief scientific news from around the world
• notification and booking forms for specialist training courses
• register of suppliers
• situations vacant
• diary dates

The Journal
Entitled 'Animal Technology & Welfare' the IAT Journal is published three times a year in April, August and December.
ATW is available on subscription but is supplied free to IAT Members.

Scientific editorial includes:

• refereed papers pertaining to all aspects of animal science and technology, management and education.
• technical notes on new products, equipment, procedures, refined techniques
• posters presented and the annual Congress
• book reviews

Books
The Institute has published two books in conjunction with Blackwell Publishers:

• Introduction to Animal Technology
• Manual of Animal Technology

Videos & CD Roms
Titles currently available on CD Rom are:

• Handle with Care
• Procedures with Care

Titles currently being converted from Video to CD Rom are:

• Euthanasia with Care

Other titles are being developed.
