Brief Duties
Will have had a minimum of 2 years experience in an laboratory animal environment, be familiar with the care, welfare and day to day husbandry of the laboratory animal species within their facility. They will have experience with the day to day routines involved in experimental or breeding facilities, including genetically altered (GA) animals and be able to record data accurately. Although not Licensed under The Animal Scientific Procedures Act 1986 (ASPA), they will know the requirements of the Act and understand routine experimental procedures.
Likely Qualifications
Level 2 Diploma in Laboratory Animal Science and Technology.
