Dear Members
As we step into May, there’s a distinct sense of momentum in the air. Spring has fully taken hold with longer days, brighter mornings, and a renewed sense of energy.
May has always been a month of milestones and reflection. Historically, it’s been a time when big ideas take root. Back in 1953, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Everest at the end of May. This is a powerful reminder that persistence and collaboration can carry us to extraordinary heights. It’s a fitting analogy for the work we continue to build together.
Closer to home, May is also a time when many of us pause to recognise growth, whether that’s projects coming to fruition, professional development, or strengthening relationships across our community. There’s something about this time of year that encourages both reflection and forward thinking. Here’s to continuing that momentum into the months ahead.
